Cory Erickson

A 2003 graduate from Hillsboro High School (North Dakota) and a 2008 graduate (magna cum laude) of the University of North Dakota in visual communication, Cory Erickson has a portfolio of photos and video productions - varying in content and length - that have been seen by thousands of adults and students around the nation. His efforts were recognized at the collegiate level in 2006 when he was awarded UND's Thomas Deats Award for excellence in visual communication.

In the fall of 2009, Cory began taking sports photos for the Banner, making them available for purchase on this site. His photos from 2012 won 13 North Dakota Newspaper Association Better Newspaper awards, including five first-place finishes in sports photo, portrait photo, pictorial photo, agricultural photo and picture story. Cory is currently part-owner and publisher of the Hillsboro Banner newspaper.

Cory officially started Sub-Zero Productions in April 2006. Located out of Hillsboro, his clients around the Red River Valley include various local businesses, organizations and private interests. He has also collaborated with the national office of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) as video producer and photographer.

Cory currently lives in Hillsboro.
